As the newest member of the Greg Bosscher Five Star Real Estate team I’d like to introduce myself to you – my future client!

My name is James Smith; husband, father, friend, realtor, community member, and coach. I spent my formative years in the area, graduating from McBain Rural Agricultural School. It was in McBain, through family, friends, and athletic pursuits that I developed the values of hard work, loyalty, trust, and persistence. Currently I reside in Lake City and have worked in the Cadillac area for several years. My exposure to the area’s various communities and cultures, as well as mentoring from a grandfather who spent forty-five years as a realtor, have triggered a passion for the real estate business. My goal is to match individuals and families to their desired home or work space by facilitating a successful real estate transaction that is executed via personal attention and service.

It will be my honor and privilege to serve as your realtor. I look forward to speaking with you and answering any questions you may have about real estate. I hope to share in your excitement and success as we work together to translate your dreams into reality.

Lisa Throop joined Greg Bosscher & Co. in April 2018. Lisa grew up in Vestaburg, Michigan and graduated from Northern Michigan University in 1988. Lisa married her high school sweetheart, Scott, and they have four children, and seven grandchildren. They have lived in McBain since 2004 and have enjoyed being part of the community! Lisa has worked as an administrative assistant for over 30 years. This career has taught her patience, effective communication, organization skills and multitasking. These traits are now used daily in her role as Office Assistant while she works closely alongside Greg and James to ensure that their clients have a positive experience in either buying or selling their home. In Lisa’s spare time, she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, working on crafts, and traveling.
